SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Houston-headquartered ACE Green Recycling (ACE) announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with STC- the Italy-based company that specialises in battery recycling and lead production.

As per terms of the strategic agreement, STC will construct battery recycling facilities by incorporating its proprietary technologies with ACE's zero Scope 1 emissions technologies for recycling lead and lithium-ion batteries to extract critical battery materials. Also, the partnering companies will jointly explore opportunities for licensing and co-marketing their battery recycling technologies.

Commenting on the development, Vipin Tyagi, ACE's co-founder and chief technology officer noted that the partnership between ACE's innovative battery recycling technology and STC's expertise in manufacturing high quality equipment will deliver significant transformation in global battery recycling. Furthermore, he noted that the company is excited to partner with STC to advance towards its goal of sustainable global electrification.
