Flower Mound Beautiful Fall Trash-Off

Join Keep Flower Mound Beautiful (KFMB) for two community-wide cleanup events on Saturday, Sept. 24. Everything kicks off with the trash-off at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers will pick up supplies from the southeast parking lot of Flower Mound High School (3411 Peters Colony Rd.) before heading to various parks, trails, and roadways around town to pick up trash. Once your assigned area is clean, head back to Flower Mound High School for their fall recycling drop-off. Registration for the trash-off event is required. Meanwhile, KFMB’s recycling drop-off event will start at 10 a.m. in the southeast parking lot of Flower Mound High School. You do not have to register for the recycling drop-off, and you do not have to attend the trash-off beforehand to participate. All are invited to peruse and enjoy environmental education booths, explore Flower Mound Fire and Police Department vehicles, and drop off their hard-to-recycle items. Accepted recyclables include electronics, paper shredding, plastic bags and film, pens, pencils, markers, and medications.
