The North Augusta’s Material Recovery Facility, which processes the City of Aiken’s recycling, is undergoing maintenance. Recycling material cannot be processed until repairs are made. City of Aiken (COA) Public Services does not have an alternative location to process our recycling at this time.
COA Public Services will pick up both garbage and recycling with the same trucks and take the material to the landfill beginning Tuesday, September 7, as a temporary measure pending the repairs in North Augusta.
