SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Brockport, NY-headquartered leading e-waste recycler Sunnking announced that it will hold a large-scale e-waste recycling event this Saturday (29th October, 2022) at the Syracuse Fairgrounds. Nearly 1,300 residents have already registered for the weekend event.
The free e-recycling event will be held from 8.30 AM to 12.00 PM at New York State Fairgrounds, 581 State Fair Blvd, Syracuse, New York 13209. Residents are required to enter Fairgrounds through Gate 6. The drop-off time slots are limited and tickets are required for entry. The registration to sign up for the event will close by 4 PM, 28 October, 2022 or when the event is fully booked. The registered residents will be emailed an entry ticket specifying the timeslot allotted to them.
The residents are advised to stay in their vehicle and drive-through, while Sunnking team members will take care of unloading the e-waste from the vehicle. The recyclables must be neatly packed and kept at the backside of the vehicle to facilitate easy unloading of the same. There will be a maximum limit of 4 CRT monitors or televisions per vehicle, the Sunnking official release said.
Although the event is free, residents could make optional donation, if they wish to do so.
