Sign up to recycle your unwanted electronics at free e-recycling events announced by Sunnking

Do you have old electronics you need to get rid of?

Sunnking announced three e-recycling event dates for Syracuse-area residents to responsibly recycle their unwanted devices.

They include:

Oswego: 8:30 a.m. to noon June 26 at State University College at Oswego

East Syracuse: 8:30 a.m. to noon August 14 at East Syracuse Minoa Central High School

Geddes: 8:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 13 at the New York State Fairgrounds

Health and safety procedures will be in place at each event including timed appointments, no-contact device removal from vehicles, and dedicated drive-through lanes.

Anyone who would like to recycle their devices can register for these events at sunnking.com/events where you can also find a complete list of recyclable devices. A drop-off site locator is located at sunnking.com/dropoff. Advance registration is required for the events and time slots usually fill up, so it’s recommended that you register early.

Since 2015, Sunnking has helped recycle 123 million pounds of potentially hazardous electronics and collects an average of 100 tons of electronics per event.
