The Hazardous Waste Collection Event is scheduled for Sept. 18 in Rock Glen, Wyoming County, New York. Pre-registration is recommended for anyone having hazardous wastes to discard such as paints, solvents, pesticides, batteries, corrosives, pool chemicals, and fluorescent. They will also be accepting all tires at $5 apiece for car tires and $10 for truck tires over 20” A complete list of what is being collected, as well as the specifics for time and location and the registration form can be accessed at www.glowsolidwaste.org.
The following week, also in Rock Glen, there will be an electronics collection event for computers, monitors and televisions, microwaves and other small appliances, cell phones, cameras, cords and wires and rechargeable batteries. There is a limit of 4 televisions/monitors that will be accepted.
