Just as electronics, batteries, or chemicals should not be disposed of in traditional garbage cans for pickup; neither should tires. In order to provide people with a disposal method for their used tires, the county of Snohomish, Washington is investigating the idea of holding a tire-specific recycling event. The Solid Waste Division of Public Works has opened a survey to allow residents of the area to share opinions on the idea. 

The survey results will help the county receive a grant from the state to fund the idea.
