The city of Santa Cruz will host a community mattress recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 26 in the parking lot of Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, 307 Church St.

Santa Cruz residents may drive through and drop off up to five mattresses or box springs free of charge.
