SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): LRS, one of the leading U.S. waste diversion and recycling service providers announced investment in strategic acquisitions of leading waste, recycling operators in core markets.
The company announced acquisitions of northern Illinois-based Molenhouse Enterprises and central Arkansas-based Bulldog Disposal. The acquisitions are with immediate effect. The financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Molenhouse and Bulldog will help LRS to expand its services across two critical markets. It will solidify LRS’ presence in northern Illinois and central Arkansas, helping it to optimize its operations and provide exceptional customer experience. The Bulldog Disposal acquisition expands LRS footprint in central Arkansas and complement its existing operations in the Arkansas River Valley.
With the above deals, LRS has completed its 12th acquisition to-date this year. It must be noted that LRS had acquired 22 companies in 2021.
The trusted customer relationships built over the years by Molenhouse and Bulldog Disposal will significantly benefit the company, said Alan T. Handley, President and CEO, LRS.
Incidentally, LRS owns and operates more than 80 facilities, providing full-time jobs to 2,100 people. It is one of the nation’s leading waste diversion, recycling and portable service providers.
