Lower Mainland Glass recycling resumes

The collection of glass bottles and jars resumed Monday after being suspended due to flooding in Southern B.C. that has damaged highways and bridges in the Lower Mainland.

Recycling BC confirmed some services would resume last week. The collection of foam packaging from depots remains temporarily suspended.

“The Peace River Regional District thanks its residents for their cooperation and patience during the past several weeks as crews continue to work on restoring services and operations in southern BC,” said the PRRD in a statement.
