IPG Chicago Manufacturing Facility Awarded TRUE Gold Zero Waste Certification

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Leading packaging and protective solutions company IPG, with its headquarters in Florida, announced that its Chicago manufacturing plant has been certified GOLD by the TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) grading system. The company's dedication to environmentally friendly waste management techniques is acknowledged by the certification.

By recycling commodities like cardboard and plastics, the Chicago facility achieved an amazing diversion rate of 91.6%. The facility received the accolade in part because of its increasing emphasis on material reuse, composting, and the shift to paperless office operations. The facility recycles, reuses, and reduces trash in accordance with best practices.

IPG Vice President of Sustainability Jay Bolus commented on the accomplishment, saying the company is very proud of the TRUE Zero Waste certification that its Chicago operation has earned. He continued by saying that obtaining Gold Level certification is a significant step in the company's transition to zero waste.

Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) administers the esteemed TRUE certification, which incentivizes organizations to implement sustainable waste reduction and management strategies.
