Habitat for Humanity ReStore to Host Free Earth Day Electronics Recycling Event

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): In celebration of Earth Day, Habitat for Humanity of Wood County ReStore will host a free electronics recycling event in Bowling Green on April 22, 2026.

The one-day event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the ReStore location on West Newton Road and is open to the public at no cost. Community members are encouraged to bring unwanted electronics, including small household devices, computers, printers, and related accessories for responsible recycling.

However, televisions and computer monitors will not be accepted during the collection drive.

The initiative is being organized in partnership with AIM Recycling to ensure that all collected materials are processed in an environmentally sustainable manner. The event aims to reduce electronic waste and promote responsible disposal practices across the community.

ReStore Manager Robin Swanson highlighted that the event provides residents with a convenient way to make a positive environmental impact while supporting affordable housing initiatives.

Participants will help divert harmful materials from landfills while contributing to Habitat for Humanity’s mission in Wood County.
