SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Maricopa residents, businesses, and community organizations will have an opportunity to responsibly dispose of unwanted electronics at a free e-waste recycling event scheduled for Saturday, April 25. The initiative, organized by Agape Computer & Electronics Recycling, is part of broader efforts to mark Earth Day and promote sustainable waste management practices.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the ACE Hardware parking lot located at 2154 John Wayne Parkway. It is open to the public and aims to make electronics recycling more accessible while preventing hazardous materials from ending up in landfills.

Participants can drop off a wide range of electronic items, including computers, laptops, mobile phones, printers, televisions, networking devices, and small household appliances—essentially most electronics with a power cord. Organizers have also confirmed that free data destruction services will be provided for all devices, ensuring secure disposal of sensitive information.
While most items will be accepted at no cost, a $20 recycling fee will apply to older tube-style CRT televisions. Attendees may also contribute aluminum cans to support the Cans for Vets initiative.
