Southern Door schools will host an electronics-recycling event Saturday, June 4, 10 am – 2 pm, organized jointly by the school district and the Town of Gardner. It’s open to all Door County residents, and it will benefit, in part, the Southern Door Elementary STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) program.
Items recycled for free include computer towers, laptops, cell phones, servers, wire, cabling, keyboards, mice, rechargeable batteries, household appliances, dehumidifiers, air conditioners and anything metal. Residents may drop off monitors for $10, TVs for $15, TVs larger than 30 inches for $30, and console TVs for $30.
