Onondaga County residents will have the opportunity to declutter their digital devices for free this weekend.

Residential electronics recycler Sunnking Sustainable Solutions will host a free e-Recycling event this Saturday, the first Syracuse-area collection of the season. A limited number of time slots remain open for registration.

The free collection encourages residential customers to start spring cleaning by recycling unused devices.

This year’s recycling collection returns to the Destiny USA Mall pink parking lot.

Residents are required to register for a drop-off time slot at sunnking.com/events.

Details for a second area collection this summer will be announced later.

Sunnking has offered no-cost collections throughout New York for 14 years, collecting an average of 100 tons of renewable resources per event.
