First United Methodist Church to host recycling event

HUDSON – Anyone with electronics and appliances that they wish to get rid of can take them to Hudson’s First United Methodist Church for a fee.

The church, which is located at 34 Felton St., will hold an electronic and appliance recycling day on Oct. 2 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The church will accept checks and cash.

Prices range on the item being disposed. For example, computer towers, modems and game consoles cost $5 each. Stoves and dishwashers cost $20.

People can also bring their keyboards, car batteries, cables and wire and cellphones for no charge.

Unwanted bikes can also be donated for free.
