It should be mentioned that millions of pounds of electronic garbage are responsibly recycled annually at the Plainfield site.

ERI's co-founder, chairman, and CEO, John Shegerian, stated that the company's cutting-edge alkaline battery recycling method generates no waste. Additionally, it ensures a circular environment by producing clean commodity outputs. The company's decision to provide a service that residents have requested in addition to its current offerings at the facility was a logical next step. He noted that all kinds of alkaline batteries may be handled by the state-of-the-art facility, which is 315,000 square feet in size.
Innovative shredding methods, AI-driven robotics, and the newest advancements in material tracking and reporting are just a few of the first-in-industry technology used at the Indiana facility. Since 2008, the facility has been recycling electronic waste for Indiana consumers and companies. Materials are accepted from 8 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday.
