The Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Technology Recyclers, Cummins Inc. and the Jackson County Solid Waste Management District are hosting a free electronics recycling collection event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at 847 E. Fourth Street Road, Seymour.

The event is open to the public and helps keep hazardous waste found in electronics from ending up in landfills. Unwanted electronics can be dropped off by drive-up or walk-up at no cost.

For a contactless delivery, stay in your vehicle and staff from Technology Recyclers will unload your unwanted electronics. Accepted e-waste items include televisions, cables and wiring, cellphones, computer towers and monitors, printers and more.
