Coronavirus in Tennessee: Franklin cancels recycling until further notice

RecyclingMonster - After rolling out its new program, the city of Franklin has halted its recycling program until further notice.

The pause comes as a result of the coronavirus and Franklin's processor shutting down its operations.

"We have reached out to other processors, but at this time there are no services available," city spokesperson Milissa Reierson wrote on social media. "We apologize for the inconvenience."

In the meantime, city officials said residents can take their recyclables to the Williamson County Recycling Centers or throw their recycling in the trash.
