City of Bristol Announced Relocation of Recycling Center

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The recycling center in Bristol, Tennessee has been moved, according to the city. The recycling center, which was previously at Holston View Elementary School, has moved to 1109 King College Road, per a social media post.

In the lot next to the old Bristol Tennessee Fire Department (BTFD) Station No. 2, which is currently the Department of Community Engagement & Events' office space, there will be recycling bins. Furthermore, recyclables will be accepted by the city at 110 Blackley Road close to the City Transit Garage, 369 Exide Drive at Fire Station No. 4, and 2972 Broad Street at Steele Creek Park.

The recycling services that are provided will not change. Paper, cardboard, and plastic will each have their own space. It advised locals to make sure recyclables are dry and clean before putting them in the garbage bins.

In order to avoid difficulties with school traffic at the prior location next to Holston View Elementary, the City explained that the bins were moved at the request of school authorities. Residents have been complaining about the old location's restricted public exposure and accessibility.
