Brightmark Joins The Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The San Francisco, California- based global waste solutions company Brightmark announced that it has become a member of the Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council (HPRC).

Brightmark employs innovative molecular recycling technology, Plastics Renewal, to transform plastic feedstocks into useful products. The environment-friendly process focuses on recapturing the value in organic and inorganic waste streams. The company targets to divert nearly 8.4 million metric tons of plastic from landfills and environment before end-2028.

Peylina Chu, Director of HPRC said that it is pleased to welcome Brightmark as its member. The capability of the company to recycle increased volumes of healthcare plastics through their advanced recycling techniques will bring great value to HPRC projects. Meantime, Bob Powell, Founder and CEO of Brightmark said that it looks forward to being actively involved in the activities of the Council, supporting them with its expertise in addressing challenges associated with healthcare plastics recycling.

By expanding the membership base, HPRC aims to boost healthcare plastics recycling across the U.S. as well as Europe.
