Borough Of Hatboro: Free Recycling And Electronics Recycling Event


The Borough of Hatboro is holding a free Community Shredding/E-Recycling Event on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11 AM – 1 PM. This event is limited to residents only and will be held in the parking lot of the Hatboro Memorial Pool (330 W. Moreland Avenue, Hatboro)

All attendees must provide valid Driver's License or ID indicating you are a Borough Resident upon arrival.

Shredding services will be limited to 3 boxes per household and all paperclips, metal and binders must be removed in order for documents to be shredded.

A complete list of electronic items being accepted includes: Cables, CD Players, Cell Phones, Circuit Boards, Computers/Laptops, Computer Mice, Game Systems, IT Equipment, Keyboards, Monitors, MP3 Players, Phone Systems, Printers, Routers, Satellite Boxes, Servers, Speakers, TVs, UPS Units, and VCR/DVD Players.

No batteries, DVDs/Playable Discs, Fluorescent Lightbulbs, Ink/Toner Cartridges, Switches, and Telecom Equipment will be accepted.

If you are also looking to retire a worn, torn, or faded American Flag, we will accept them in the flag recycling box during this event as well. Look for a box labeled flag recycling while at the event.

This event is held in conjunction with Sullivan's Scrap Metal. After you recycle your electronics and drop off your items to be shredded, it's the perfect time to check out the Steel Penny Cafe located at 451 Oakdale Avenue, Hatboro!(Connected to Sullivan's)
