BRIGHTON TWP. − Beaver County has been awarded a $350,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for different county recycling programs.
The grant will be used to purchase a horizontal baler, an attachment for the screen, six cardboard collection boxes and four boxes for the paper program, yard waste and glass collection programs.
Those programs are through the Beaver County Department of Sustainability and Waste Management and are held at the Beaver County Recycling Center at Bradys Run Park.
