SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): VLS Environmental Solutions has expanded its presence in the U.S. waste management industry by acquiring leading hazardous and non-hazardous waste services company, California-based Environmental & Chemical Consulting (ECC). The deal will expand VLS' operations across the West Coast region.
The acquisition will result in enhancment of its existing operations in Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Tijuana, Quartzsite, Deer Park, and Corpus Christi. Additionally, the addition of the S tockton site will give VLS a stronger presence in Northern California, allowing it to offer better services to customers across the region.

The expanded netwrok will help VLS to offer a wider range of services, including waste transportation, recycling, treatment, processing, and disposal. The larger footprint will provide significant benefits including improved operational efficiency and short response times, VLS said.
VLS Chief Executive Officer John Magee said the acquisition supports the company's long-term growth strategy while adding experienced professionals and valuable expertise. The combined organization will create a stronger and more efficient business, said Former ECC owner David Rains
ECC operates hazardous waste transfer facilities in Mentone and Stockton, California. The company serves businesses in sectors, including manufacturing, retail, government, and telecommunications.
