MONTREAL (RecyclingMonster): Jefferson Parish has cancelled this Saturday’s Household Hazardous Materials collection event and recycling drop-off events due to the threat of inclement weather.
Recycling Drop-Off Service to Resume June 13
Parish officials said recycling at the Metairie and Marrero drop-off sites is expected to resume on Saturday, June 13, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., weather permitting.
Hazardous Materials Event Rescheduled for July 11
The Household Hazardous Materials event has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to noon. The collection will take place in the parking lot of the John A. Alario Sr. Event Center, located at 2000 Segnette Blvd., Westwego, Louisiana 70094.
