The Recycling Partnership Appoints Greg Saxon as CEO to Lead Next Phase of U.S. Recycling Growth

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The Recycling Partnership has announced the appointment of Greg Saxon as its new Chief Executive Officer. The appointment, with effect from July 20, 2026, is in line with the previously announced leadership succession plan. He takes over from the organization's founder, Keefe Harrison. The leadership change comes at a significant time for the U.S. recycling industry.

Saxon was selected after a nationwide executive search conducted by the Board of Directors. The board has been in search of a leader capable of guiding the nonprofit through changing regulations while encouraging investment in recycling infrastructure and expanding collaboration across the industry stakeholders.

Saxon brings more than two decades of professional experience. He has worked across several sectors, including recycling, packaging, supply chain management, procurement, manufacturing operations, and circular economy initiatives.

Board Chair Haley Lowry expressed confidence that Saxon's operational expertise and leadership skills will help accelerate programs designed to improve recycling access and efficiency across U.S. communities.

Outgoing CEO Keefe Harrison welcomed the appointment, stating that Saxon's industry knowledge and leadership make him well positioned to guide The Recycling Partnership through its next phase of growth and innovation.
