SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Clinton County Solid Waste Management District has announced its 2026 Recycling Mega-Event, scheduled for Saturday, April 25, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, offering residents a convenient opportunity to responsibly dispose of select recyclable items.
The event, which is by appointment only, will be open exclusively to Clinton County residents. Organizers have emphasized the importance of early registration, with the deadline set for Friday, April 24 at 12:00 noon. Participants can book slots through the county’s official recycling webpage.

The collection drive will accept tires, televisions, and batteries, each with specific guidelines. Tire disposal is limited to rim sizes of 17 inches or smaller, capped at 10 per household, with a fee of $1 per tire.
All battery types will be accepted, provided terminals are securely taped.
Television recycling will also be available, while other electronics can be processed through the Dell Reconnect program at designated drop-off locations.
The initiative is supported by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and SFM Insurance, highlighting a collaborative effort to promote environmental sustainability and responsible waste management practices.
