Further to the acquisition, the management team of Agri-Cycle will collaborate with Closed Loop Partners to broaden the company's offerings.
Closed Loop Partners' co-head of closed loop private equity, Jackson Pei, stated that the company is pleased to support Agri-Cycle and work with their management team to significantly increase organics' circularity in the United States. According to him, the acquisition will aid in seizing the nation's market opportunity for the diversion of food and organic waste.
For Closed Loop Partners' efforts to promote organics circularity, the acquisition represents a significant turning point. Additionally, by maintaining thousands of tons of food in circulation, the cooperation will signal the beginning of Agri-Cycle's next stage of expansion. Up to 40% of all food produced in the United States is thought to end up in landfills.
