SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Clear Recycling has expanded its presence in North Carolina by opening a scrapyard in Clinton. The new facility aims to improve access to scrap metal recycling services across Sampson and Clinton counties. Located at 718 E Railroad St, the new facility joins the company’s existing scrapyards in Sanford and Durham.
The Clinton facility will accept a broad range of ferrous and nonferrous scrap materials. Accepted items include aluminum siding and wheels, copper, electrical wires, brass, stainless steel, sheet iron, cast iron, household appliances and automotive scrap. Eligible end-of-life vehicles can also be recycled through the company’s junk car program.
Customers can bring materials to the facility for weighing and grading. Payments will depend on prevailing market conditions. The company also provides scrap collection for qualifying loads, offering an alternative for customers unable to transport materials themselves. Also, commercial and industrial customers can access scrap pickup and roll-off container services for qualifying high-volume recycling requirements.
The new Clinton scrapyard will further strengthen Clear Recycling’s regional footprint while maintaining access to established recycling services for residential and commercial customers in the surrounding area.
