SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Residents of Ceres will have the opportunity to participate in a free Community Disposal Day on Saturday, February 7, from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Ceres River Bluff Regional Park, located at 3761 E. Hatch Road.
Now in its third annual year, the program allows Ceres utility customers to safely and responsibly dispose of large household items, electronics, mattresses, and car or pickup tires at no cost. Attendees must present a current Ceres utility bill and a valid photo ID to gain access to the event.

Accepted materials include appliances, bulky furniture, chairs, tables, up to four mattresses, and a maximum of seven passenger or pickup tires. Electronic waste, including computers, monitors, printers, and other devices, is also welcome. The event does not accept hazardous materials, green waste, construction debris, or general household trash.
All items must be securely loaded and covered with tarps or cargo nets. Unsecured loads or vehicles larger than a pickup truck will not be accepted.
Funded in part by the CalRecycle Waste Tire Amnesty Grant, this event is organized in partnership with the Greater Valley Conservation Corps and the Mattress Recycling Council, reinforcing Ceres’ dedication to sustainable disposal and community environmental stewardship.
