SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) has unveiled the official theme for NPE2027: The Plastics Show — “NEXT IS NOW.” The theme underscores action over aspiration, highlighting the plastics industry’s commitment to innovation and its proactive role in shaping the future.
According to Matt Seaholm, President and CEO of PLASTICS, NPE2027 will bring together the entire plastics supply chain under one roof. He emphasized that “NEXT IS NOW” reflects the industry’s leadership in tackling global challenges through creativity and technology. Seaholm added that PLASTICS is dedicated to making NPE2027 a truly memorable and inspiring event for all global participants.
The NPE2027 theme positions the plastics sector as a forward-thinking leader driving real-world solutions. The event will unite a broad spectrum of stakeholders — including customers, investors, regulators, and consumers — to explore the industry’s evolving role in sustainability and innovation.
Scheduled for May 3–7, 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, Florida, the triennial trade show will feature over 2,200 exhibitors and attract more than 51,000 attendees from about 130 countries, showcasing the full potential of the global plastics industry.
