SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Call2Recycle and American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) formed a strategic alliance to promote lithium-ion battery recycling in the United States.
Call2Recycle will use its wide network of drop-off locations to collect end-of-life lithium-ion batteries from businesses and consumers as part of the collaboration arrangement. The gathered batteries will be delivered to ABTC's state-of-the-art recycling facilities, where ABTC's own closed-loop recycling system will be used to process them.

The new program is a major step in increasing battery recycling accessibility for consumers nationwide. Additionally, ABTC's recycling procedure will contribute to the highly efficient recovery of vital minerals including manganese, nickel, cobalt, and lithium, minimizing its environmental impact.
According to ABTC CEO Ryan Melsert, the collaboration will enable the business to interact directly with customers and broaden the application of its cutting-edge recycling technologies. The agreement will assist strengthen the domestic supply chain of essential minerals while also broadening its operating scope.
