SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): r.World, a leading U.S. provider of reusable foodware solutions, has achieved a major environmental milestone by removing 20 million single-use cups and foodware items from landfills. If stacked end-to-end, these items would stretch over 1,700 miles.
Leveraging advanced reverse logistics and sanitization systems, r.World has prevented the production of more than 110 tons of plastic. This effort has helped cut 440 U.S. tons of carbon dioxide emissions, saved 1.65 million kWh of energy, and conserved nearly 5 million gallons of water.
The company operates across thousands of locations in 35+ U.S. states, 150+ cities, and 12 countries. r.World has partnered with major venues including Crypto.com Arena, UC Berkeley’s football stadium, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, collaborating with leaders in sports and entertainment to expand its sustainable impact.
