Minus Waste Solutions Plans Rapid Capacity Expansion

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The organics processing business Minus Waste Solutions, situated in Ontario, announced a major increase in both its fleet and processing capacity. This comes after the Canada Business Growth Fund provided a sizeable growth equity investment.

The company currently serves both commercial and industrial clients with a fleet of 12 cars and two processing facilities in the Toronto area. It transports organic waste from pre-consumers and turns it into slurry. According to Louis Anagnostakos, President of Minus Waste Solutions, the new investment will support the company's efforts to lessen the negative environmental effects of carrying and disposing of organic waste.

Minus Waste Solutions was established in 2020 and can treat around 150,000 tons of organic waste annually. In the upcoming quarter, the corporation plans to build two new facilities. It plans to handle about half a million tons of organics annually during the next five years.

Additionally, the business intends to invest in acquisitions in accordance with its previously stated M&A strategy. It also plans to expand its current capacity to treat food waste in the future.
